People, Places and a plateful

Writing about education , speculating about the history of people and places led me to begin this blog dedicated to food, history and the way we respond to it. It is  one of my theories that as one tries to make sense of the world around us we try to discover facts ,which bring us to education.largely, all of us are trying to educate ourselves through our interaction with the world, cultures and of course, food.

Can the foodie teach history? or, as we uncover the culture of people can we also grasp their history . If we can , for teaching methodology certainly points that way then spices and recipes , seasonings and solitude can make a heady combination. Thus, through this blog I will try to uncover the secrets of food through the common history of a region.

My travels can take me to various places. I may receive a welcome in some places ,in some places I have to be a regular Sherlock to uncover a secret. But, I will bring to you recipes of the soul. Food that real people are eating around the globe. Through the foodie's history, you will also learn amazing facts about the places visited.
